I had been looking forward to reading Cole s story but he seemed like a different person in this one and frankly not very bright Jaden seemed rather silly at times The only character who seemed fully fleshed out was one of the villains who was pretty nasty Several of the events seemed silly or contrived too, for example, I never did figure out why Cole though he and Jaden had to re enact the night that Kent died except to show that he and Jaden would be attracted to each other, which when I think about it is kind of ew.The terrorist plot did not seem handed well either It was so confusing, the climax of the story was not all that exciting And it really irked me everytime I read that the terrorists spoke a foreign tongue or worse still, gibberish On the bright side, I liked how Slade was involved and how he actually revealed to the reader what had happened with Cole s lost love And I actually alreayd read 4 in the s
