This book has great illustrations and it is very pleasing to the eye It is about a young dancer wanting to wear sur pointer shoes It is a great book for students because it teaches them patients and that not everything will come easy in life It would be a good book to read to students and relate it to there writing skills and how it will take time. What an amazing story about dreams and reality Tanya dreams of the day when she will get her pointe shoes in ballet When the day arrives, things do not go as Tanya had hoped Great message about perseverance and persistence Don t give up Loved the ideas in this story Some will appreciate the artistic illustrations, too, which I found perfect for the story.
