The Boy Who Did Not Like Television The Boy Who Did Not Like Television Is A Wonderful Story Of Young Boy Who One Wish Is That His Parents Would Turn Off The Television And Turn Their Attention To Him Instead This Distresses His Parents, But Eventually They Come To Realize That Their Son Isentertainment Than Television Could Ever Be And They All Spend Happier Times Together. I liked this book ok I like to put myself in the story, but i couldn t because i like television i thought it was kindof silly too, because we like to watch tv as a family my favorite way to watch cartoons is cuddling with my mom. This is rather obnoxiously didactic with no trimmings beyond a not so subtle plea to spend family time instead of watching TV Which is not to say that I don t agree with the sentiment I m no big fan of TV myself, although I do find it rather addicting However,the story doesn t have any meat to it taking the nameless boy to a doctor, teacher, and then a wizard to try to fix him I mean, come on The illustrations are unobjectionable they neither provoke thought or emotion nor take an active This is rather obnoxiously didactic with no trimmings beyond a not so subtle plea to spend family time instead of watching TV Which is not to say that I don t agree with the sentiment I m no big fan of TV myself, although I do find it rather addicting
